*Slumdog Millionaire*

Yea i probably should have talked bout this quite some time back. Apparently i was too busy. But sumthin sparked me to do this. Will come to that later.

Well, if u haven't heard of this movie, then probably u shld jus stay in that little cave of urs. I watched it almost a month back, not immediately after it came out though. Well, after all the nominations and awards, how can one not watch it.. 8 Academy awards, 4 Golden Globes, 7 BAFTA Awards, and of course, 6 Oscars. A movie based in India creating such a storm in the movie industry is something u dun get to see everyday. Wait, its sumthing no one has got to see before.

But one guy stood out in this movie. He didn't appear in the movie though. No, not Danny Boyle, the director. But the music director, A.R. Rahman. Has been quite the highlight of entertainment tabloids recently, thks to the accolades he received for his part in the movie. Alot of pple might not have heard of him, but he's well known to Indians all over the world, with his part in Tamil movies. Ever since i have knowledge of watching Tamil movies and listening to songs, I have been a great fan of his. When i listen to a song and really like it, and when i check it up, he jus so happens to be the music director for it. Very successful within India. And very humble for someone so successful. That's what that makes him stand out from the rest. I can jus keep goin on bout him, but that would defeat the purpose of my entry - the trigger for me writing this in the first place.

Well, i was listening to 987 jus now. And they played the theme song for the movie - 'Jai Ho'. And they introduced the song as Jai Ho, by A.R. Rahman, and The Pussycat Dolls. Now when the hell did this ever happen.. Never in my wildest dream did i see this comin. I mean, the guy is like a perfect image, role model kinda guy. Talent, humble, achiever, family man and stuff. While the dolls are, erm, when u see them, u're not really interested in their songs, but, ya, we all know where this is leading to. So ya, what a combination man..
